Another winner for Kaiweets! Well made, long lasting and very important tool to have if you are doing ANY electrical work. The screen is really clear and back lit. The sticker pages where you can finally make sense of your breakers and what they power. I accidentally dropped it from about 4ft and it was fine. The case is really nice as well. The tools you'll find in this kit are incredibly useful and really make safety the main concern. Checking outlet receptacles is made very easy. I've had it on for quite a while and the battery seems unfazed. This will really speed up your projects. Considering the low price and everything it comes with I think this is a winner.

This turned out to be a very useful electrical troubleshooting tool. While its primary purpose is finding the correct circuit breaker, it includes several additional features that make it useful long after all of your breakers are labeled.Besides the breaker finder, it also functions as a non-contact voltage tester and an outlet/GFCI tester. If I had owned this first, I probably wouldn't have purchased separate tools for outlet testing and non-contact voltage detection because this combines those functions into one device.I tested the NCV feature on several known energized wires, and it detected them without any issues. I also verified the breaker-finding function on a circuit that I already knew was correctly labeled in my electrical panel. The receiver clearly identified the correct breaker without giving me confusing false positives. I included a video of the process so others can see how it performed during testing.The included accessories add a lot of value. Everything comes organized in a sturdy carrying case, and the kit includes alligator clips for connecting to bare wires, which is handy for tracing circuits that don't terminate at a standard receptacle. It also includes a light socket adapter, which I found especially useful. Rather than connecting directly to the wiring behind a light switch, I was able to screw the adapter into a nearby light socket and trace that circuit much more conveniently.Overall, this is much more than just a circuit breaker finder. It combines several electrical testing tools into one package, worked accurately during my testing, and comes with thoughtful accessories that make it useful for a wide variety of troubleshooting tasks around the home.

I've held off from buying a Circuit Breaker Finder because my breakers were all well labeled, or so I thought, and it really just seemed like something I could figure out by throwing a switch. That was until I had a light switch I wanted to replace on the 2nd floor which had me running back and forth to my breaker in the basement over and over again. That's when I started considering a tool like this as it became clear the previous owner did not properly label our breaker box.The tool also provides multiple other useful features which add value to it after you've identified properly labeled all of your breakers. The main function is locating a breaker, but it also has a non-contact voltage mode which can identify hot wires which extends the usefulness of this beyond just finding breakers. The outlet side also provides additional wiring and GFCI testing as well so you're really getting several tools at once. I personally have a dedicated outlet tester and a dedicated NCV Pen that I would maybe not have bought if I had this first.I tested the NCV feature on a few known hot wires and it worked perfectly. Then I tested the tracer feature on a breaker I know is correctly labeled in my panel. It was very clear when it found the matching breaker and there was no other false positive or misleading hits when I was testing. I did find you need to have the finder "pen" touching the correct place on the breakers, just a bit in front of the switch or it would not identify it. The good news is that if you don't have it right you just don't get a hit and it's not like it falsely identifies a match or anything.The kit itself ships with a nice case, and useful extras like a bare wire connector if you needed to find a breaker on a raw cable or attaching to wires in a switch. They also include a pretty helpful socket adapter you can put in a light socket to test. I found this really helpful as another circuit I wanted to trace was a light switch and I prefer to just insert the remote end into a light socket vs trying to connect the bare wire tester to the switch.Overall this is a fantastic value for the current price, I paid nearly as much for my single outlet tester, not to mention my NCV tester was also about the same price. Oh and it has a flashlight too? Not the brightest thing ever, but helpful in a pinch. Very pleased with this, the added features make this more than a one time use tool.
